Square in December – Time – Day 1

‘Time is relative’

***

It’s time! Time for Becky’s Square in December, with the topic of …Time! Sounds fun, doesn’t it? If you’d like to participate, just check out the link above.

For my posts this month, I’ll be posting one photo of something to do with time, and a song that is about an element of time. Music is a big part of my interests, and music is timeless. Music can bring back memories of good times, or sometimes bad times, but the moment you hear a certain song, it takes you right back to that time and place. Hope you enjoy my selections for this challenge.

“Fly Like an Eagle”, by Steve Miller Band, was released as a single from their album, “Fly Like and Eagle”, in 1976. It was written by Steve Miller, and is on the Capitol label.

There is only one rule, your photograph must be square!

The December theme is TIME. I am sure everyone has found at least one #timesquare, but just in case you are struggling here are some #timesquare ideas;

  1. Timepieces – clocks, watches, sun dials and egg timers
  2. Sayings – Time & tide wait for no man (or woman!), A stitch in time saves nine, Early bird catches the worm, In the nick of time or More haste, less speed
  3. Synonyms – era, moment, season, infinity, interval, lifetime and age
  4. Out of the box – nighttime, downtime, pastime and mealtimes!

I will be posting daily and it would be fabulous if you could too, but don’t worry if you can’t as weekly posts, sporadic posts or even one post at the end of the month are all timely!

Don’t forget to keep your photograph square and to pingback to one of my time posts.

  1. What a great clock and just loving your idea to share music too. You are so right about memories, I was listening to something on radio this afternoon and was taken right back to a road trip i made as a teenager!

    • Thanks so much, Becky! Such a fun challenge, and I’m happy to play along this month. I’m the same, when I hear a song. Funny how that happens, but I like it. 🙂
