Yuck to all of that. I don’t like thinking about all that inside stuff.

Since I had my gall bladder out I’ve had to think of what I can and can’t eat all the time. If I eat the wrong things (like greasy or spicy) I get a stomachache. It’s not fun. And, I love greasy and spicy foods. Mexican food is my favorite, but I can’t eat too much of it.

So, enough about that.

Digest can be used as in books and magazines…Reader’s Digest, Writer’s Digest. Those are all I know, and both are interesting to read. I wonder why they called them that? Are we supposed to read and mull over, and digest what is said in those magazines? Maybe.

Digest reminds me of an episode of the TV show, “Everybody Loves Raymond”, where Frank gets his ‘humor in uniform’ piece published in the Reader’s Digest. He keeps saying the ‘digest’, and thinks he is famous now. This irritates everyone else in the family. It’s pretty funny.

Anyway, that’s all I’ve got for this prompt.

Wishing everyone a fun weekend!

  1. I never saw that episode, but I loved that show. I can picture him calling it “the digest” and I am cracking up right now!
