What Was That Again? – One Liner Wednesday

What Was That Again? – One Liner Wednesday

One-Liner Wednesday – An Autumn Goodbye

Here’s some more things I’ve heard wrong that makes me go, huh?

McDonald’s Breakfast Booties … I have no idea what these are (said by a local news person)

Jesus snacks are my favorite … Nope, it’s Cheez-Its snacks (TV ad)

and my phone texted this wrong … I texted ‘glad he liked it’ (my grand-son’s birthday present)

but my phone put … “Government lied it” … hmmm really?

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

    • Haha! I know!
I’m pretty sure some of my not hearing something right, is because I’m just half listening, and just catch a little part of what is said. It makes for some strange looks, then I have to ask them what did you say, again? 🙂

  1. Hah! The other day, I was texting, trying to say, “then open the file” and it turned into Thanatopsis or Thenopolis or some crap – either one is too much. Just too much!

  2. Your mention of the Twilight Zone has got my imagination going. Lots of ghost in the machine material here. Remember “Talking Tina?” Now we can have Texting Teasers. Or Twisted Texters. I enjoyed your one liners.

    • Thanks, JoAnna!
I didn’t remember Tina the Talking Doll, but looked it up, and it was pretty creepy!
It does seem sometimes that machines and smart phones are getting too real. The phones sometimes try to predict what you’re going to say before you say it, and makes for some really funny texts. Still, it makes you wonder! 🙂

      • My phone tells me how long it will take me to get home and what route to take. I didn’t ask it to. A couple weeks after we relocated to my parent’s house it started using that new location as home without me doing anything.

      • Interesting that your phone does that. Those cell towers are all over and I think they pick up pings from phones or something. Not sure if you have to enable it or not. Kinda spooky, and Big Brother-ish, but a good thing if someone gets lost.
