The questions:

  1. September is the perfect month for ________________.
  2. This month, I am looking forward to _______________.
  3. My morning routine always includes _________.
  4. I have a love-hate relationship with _________.

My answers:

September is a good month for a change of seasons. It comes that ‘fall’ feeling to the air. We still have mostly warm days, but there is a slight tinge of coolness to the breeze. It’s also a good time for birthdays, as there are two family members who have their day this month.

I’m looking forward to my grand-daughter’s 5th birthday party on Saturday. It’s a few days early, but since it will be the weekend, that’s fine.

My morning routine…make coffee and feed Cricket, then turn on computer to play a few games as I’m getting more awake.

I have a love/hate relationship with this computer. I love it when it’s working good, and no problems, but hate it when it’s acting up, or quits working like it’s supposed to. I have a feeling it may need to go in for repairs pretty soon (knock wood it won’t have to) as it keeps making all these weird noises when I turn it on.

    • Thanks, Cathy!
I hear you. If it isn’t the computer acting up, its problems with the provider. Computers have made so much a lot easier, except when it causes problems, doesn’t it. Hope you get your troubles with yours straightened out soon. 🙂

    • Thanks, Jasmine!
Fall is my favorite time of year, too. We only have one big tree, but the kitties like to see the leaves when they twirl down to the ground.
      Wishing y’all a happy weekend! 🙂

  1. Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Happy 5th birthday to your grand-daughter! That is such a fun age. Have a nice weekend.

    • Five year olds are so fun…well all ages are! They have a unique way of looking at everything, and don’t mind telling you how it is.
We did have a fun time at her party. I think she enjoyed it. She was especially impressed with her cake. A new concept for her, I guess…a sheet cake! She had to let everyone know it was a ‘sheet cake’ 🙂

    • Thanks, David!
I’ll bet the fall season is beautiful back where y’all are originally from. We get the 4 seasons up here, a few hundred miles north of you, and it’s okay. We do get some over 100 days too! 🙂

  2. Happy birthday to your birthday folks!

What kind of noises is your computer making? I sure hope it will be okay.

We’ve had some cooler days recently and lots of rain, but we were back into the 90s yesterday. I haven’t even been outside yet today, so I don’t know what awaits me there. After I was attacked by the dogs yesterday, we brought the little kitties into the house. I don’t have any reason to go outside now until the mail runs tomorrow. 🙂

Have a blessed day and week, Barbara!

    • Thanks, Suzanne!
We had fun at the birthday party.
Mostly the computer takes about 6 tries to get it to turn on, and makes revving engine noises. We probably need to take it in to be looked at.
Oh no…what dogs? Hope all were okay. Glad you brought the little kitties in, and they let you! Be careful going out!
      Blessings for your family ❤

      • I’m glad that you all enjoyed the birthday party.
David says that sounds like hard drive errors in your computer to him. You probably want to make sure that you have everything backed up to an external drive or something like Google Drive.
It was neighborhood dogs. David won’t let any of us go outside without him now. They were out again last night when he and Laynie went to walk Petra. Poor dog didn’t even get to potty because she was so scared. They came back in right away so they didn’t get attacked, too. We haven’t seen them out today in the daytime, thank goodness.
Blessings to you and your family, too. ❤

      • Thanks! And tell David thanks for the information. I’ll mention it to my husband, as I have no idea about computer stuff, really.
Those dogs roaming around the neighborhood…I’d be afraid to be out there too. Have you contacted animal control? Maybe they could do something, or even give a warning to the owners to keep them penned up.

  3. Thank you for joining in on the Friendly Fill-Ins! I also enjoy that September is when it starts to feel like autumn. And I very much relate to your #4, because my computer and myself have a love-hate relationship as well. Happy birthday to your granddaughter!

    • You’re welcome!
Thanks for the birthday wishes. I’ll pass them along to her, as today is her actual birthday. We had her party this past Saturday, and she enjoyed it a lot. 🙂
