Time for another set of cool questions from Cee, and answers from me!

Here’s what you’ll find at the above link…how to join in the fun, and other blogger’s answers to the questions!

It’s a great way to have some fun on a Monday! ๐Ÿ™‚

Here’s the questions for this week:

Since we are approaching the hottest part of our summer in the northern hemisphere, whatโ€™s your favorite ice-cream, frozen yogurt or sorbet flavor? ย (Those of you who live down under Iโ€™m sure you remember what it is like in the hot summer months).

How often do you people watch?

If you had a choice which would be your preference salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, ocean cruise, hot tub, ski resort or desert?

Here are my answers:

Ice cream is good, and I do like it, but hardly ever eat it. We’ve had a small container up in the freezer for a long time and it hasn’t even been cracked open. There are also a couple of ice cream sandwiches in there that we got from the drive-by ice cream man awhile back, too.

My favorite kind, though, would be home-made vanilla. We used to have an old fashioned ice cream freezer, that you had to hand crank the handle to turn the inside container around and around. You’d add crushed ice and rock salt to the outside part. That’s the best kind, to me.

Otherwise, I mostly just like vanilla, or sweet cream flavor. That goes for frozen yogurt, too.

It took a second for me to figure out the people watching question. Watch what?… I thought it was asking how often do you people (meaning us or we) watch something…like television? haha! Then I figured it out.

I watch people all the time when we go places. People are fun to watch…what they are wearing, what they are talking about (if I can hear them), what they are buying at the grocery store, and on and on. Honestly, there are some strange people out there. I, too, like to make up stories about them.

I have this thing I can do most times…a psychic gift maybe? I can get certain vibes from just watching someone (a stranger). I’ll know if they are happy, sad, ill, sneaky, lying, or whatever…it’s just a feeling I get, and it doesn’t really matter what they are projecting on the surface. Fun, but weird to do this.

~

Okay, from the list of places I’d prefer in the last question, I’d choose desert. I don’t mean like the Sahara, or anything extreme like that, but just a hot, dry climate, with cactus and lizards, and desert type houses (adobe), and wide open spaces, where at night you can see a billion stars up in the cooling desert sky. Ahh, yep…that’s it! Come to think of it, that’s pretty close to how it is here where I live, except we’re in the city.

I liked when we lived fairly close to the Gulf of Mexico, and I enjoyed visiting the beaches, but I really don’t like being around water that much. Definitely not a big lake, but we live right by a playa lake (a small one) and that’s pretty cool, because of the ducks and geese.

Anyway, those are my answers for today! ๐Ÿ™‚ Next week there will be more! Yay!

I love coffee lovers ice cream from Cold Stone the best, but I love just about any kind of ice cream. I don’t eat it very much either.

How often do you people watch?

All. the. time. I love to watch people. I make up stories about them from time to time.

If you had a choice which would be your preference salt water beaches, fresh water lakes, ocean cruise, hot tub, ski resort or desert?

Fresh water California Delta on our boat. Okay I don’t mind going to San Francisco in our boat and that’s salt water. As long as I’m on a boat.

    Have a fabulous day. โ™ฅ

    • Thanks so much, Sandee, for answering the questions, too! I liked reading your answers!
That’s wonderful that you love being on the water and on your boat! ๐Ÿ™‚

  2. Well you’re an empath โค That's what that is ๐Ÿ™‚
So we have that, but totally different for the climate. I'll take my green forests, lakes, then the beach… after that, meh and no.

    • Thanks, Joey!
I guess that’s what you’d call it, being an empath. I like being able to do that, but sometimes it gets to be too much. Maybe that’s why I don’t like being in crowds very long…too many emotions to absorb.
I’ve never lived in the mountains or around woods, but I think I’d like it very much, too. ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Thanks, Carol!
I’m glad you get to see the stars where you are, too. Some places have too many man-made lights it’s light pollution, so you can’t really see the night sky very well.
I did enjoy our time at the beaches in south TX at the Gulf of Mexico, but I’ve never seen an ocean. Glad you get to go sometimes. ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. I love ice cream too — although I couldn’t leave it in the freezer for that long — I’d be feasting on it. (Ok, on a diet, can’t think about ice cream, sighs).

    • Thanks, M! I think I go through phases of eating ice cream a lot, then forget about it for awhile. I do like those big waffle cone ice creams sometimes, too. ๐Ÿ™‚ Sorry you’re on restriction from it at the moment.

      • I love waffle cones too especially with ice cream inside and caramel and whipped cream with a cherry on top. Sighs. Too bad dreaming of food doesn’t burn calories. I’d be skinny already, lol.

    • Thanks, Laura!
I guess it’s just what I’m used to …dry and dusty. I like visiting other types of places and climates, but am always glad to get home. ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. I love that you talked about your intuition on how people are feeling. We all do it to a certain extent and so differently. It’s nice to hear you say it. ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Thanks, Cee! Great questions as always!
Yes, I believe it is a type of intuition, and as Joey mentioned, being an empath. Sometimes too it’s just watching and listening to how people act and speak, that gives us some insight to them as well. It’s fun to imagine what other people you see are like. ๐Ÿ™‚
