Random Post # 20 – This & That Blog Word Letters Text Scrabble Alphabet B

Y’all are posting so many good, fun, & interesting posts! I don’t want to miss any of them, so have been reading as many as I can, and yes, if I like or comment, I’ve read the whole post, and sometimes following the links you refer back to. It’s fun – I love it!

In between reading, I’ve been doing laundry – washing, drying, switching more loads to the next machine. Still a few more to go.

Also, taking a few minutes to work on another jigsaw puzzle my daughter got me for Mother’s Day. It’s a hard one, but I’ll get it done one of these days.

Feeding cats, gathering up their bowls that the wind blew out in the yard. So windy today with a bit of sand in the air. Still, it’s cooler today…only 93 F, compared to the past few days, and the days to come. Yesterday was 104.

Went to yard sales yesterday, yes in 104 degree heat. Fun was had & junk was bought. Lots of sweating, though. One place did have a bunch of fans, and a water mister we could stand under…wonderful. Then, when I got home I was going to make myself a nice cup of coffee. I went to fill up the coffee maker, and spilled water all over the floor, so had to mop that up first. Finally got my coffee and was able to sit and rest, and cool off for a little bit.

Anyway, I was just trying to say, I’m behind (slow) in reading your posts, but am still trying to catch up.

Thanks for your visits here, too! I do so appreciate every one of y’all. šŸ™‚

  1. I’ve been enjoying your replay of the Two Souls Into The Fire story as I missed the beginning. I have to start the Road Trip from the A to Z pretty soon so you are not the only one playing catch up.

    • Thanks so much, Janet! i’m happy you’re enjoying the story! … I probably should do the Road Trip for A to Z, but I didn’t sign up. Do you have to formally sign up, or is it too late? šŸ™‚

    • Yes it was so hot out there! But, when you’re a die-hard yard sale goer, it’s hard to miss out on seeing what’s out there, even if it means we melt! haha šŸ™‚

    • It is awfully hot, though I’ve seen it up to 115 degrees before! I’m in west Texas, Lubbock…it’s a little over 100 miles south of Amarillo, and less than 100 miles from the New Mexico border. It’s semi-desert here, so we’re used to hot weather. šŸ™‚
