Blogging Chums Award

Blogging Chums Award

I was nominated for the “Blogging Chums Award”, by Suze. Thanks so much! You know I love getting these awards, and to be in on the (almost) beginning of a brand new one is awesome!

To view Suze’s blog, just click the below link. You will find all kinds of interesting things over there. 🙂

This award was recently created by a wonderful blogger, Robert. His blog, “Nonalcoholicstudent”, is a new and unique voice in the blogging world. Find out why and how he created this award by clicking the below link.

Here’s a bit of information, and the rules to follow when you, too, accept this award.

The “logo” for this award was created by  Robert’s blogging chum Dressing To Impress   and the award was named by beams19 of Crave the Unknown   and Robert made up the “rules”.

The Blogging Chums Award is given to particularly brilliant bloggers who are really providing something special to the community, either through their writing or the way they engage with other people: they’re just brilliant!

  1. Be sure to use the award image!
  2. List the rules & about paragraph!
  3. Thank whoever nominated you!
  4. Write a letter to someone who means a lot to you to spread some positivity around the Internet – anyone will do!
  5. Nominate 5-10 more people for the award and go let them know about it in their comments!

We are to write a letter to someone, and this is mine:

Dear D,

We met on Twitter, and instantly knew we were ‘soul sistahs’.

Both of us just knew we’d known each other somehow, possibly in another lifetime, and through our correspondence, knew it even more as a fact.

We both were into the paranormal, and both had had ghostly encounters. This fueled even more conversations, by of course Twitter, then daily Face Book letters and messages, and on to Skype with the family, and phone calls. We sent each other actual, through the mail, cards, letters, and little gifts.

We had such fun, telling each other stories about our lives before we met again in this realm, sharing laughter about silly stuff, and tears for the down days. We even had our own secret club we named SASSY (secret association of soul sistahs yes). There wasn’t a day we didn’t check in with each other, for several years, always signing off with lots of hearts ❤ and (((hugs))), Love ya mucho, and erasers and coco (inside joke).

So, Soul Sistah, I’m writing to tell you that I love you, and miss you terribly since you passed through the veil. I know we’ll meet again someday. ❤

Love from me to you…see ya later! xo

D – my BFF

Now, don’t ever let anyone tell you that you can’t have real friends on social media, because it can and does happen, though you may never meet in person.

Okay, so I’m supposed to nominate some blogs to receive this award. I don’t normally do this, and leave it open for everyone to participate. This is true for this one, as well. If you’d like to grab the cool badge, and take part, feel free to do so.

However, I will break my self imposed rule, by actually following the rules of this one, this time, and give out a few nominations. I think this is a great award, and I want to help spread the word about it.

To my nominees…I love reading your blogs, and appreciate what you’ve accomplished. There is no obligation to accept, as I wasn’t sure who or who didn’t have awards on their sites.

  1. Wonderful, Congratulations to you so you met your soul sistah! That’s great 🙂
And congratulations for this award as well!
Thank you for nominating me as well.

  2. Your “D” sounds much like my Angie. So glad you have her in your life…yes, I KNOW you wrote she passed but that doesn’t ever mean we lose the person. Thanks for accepting…you and your blog are very special o me.

    • Thanks so much, Suze. BFFs are so special. I’m glad you and Angie have each other, too. No, we never really lose those who have passed over. They will always be in our hearts. Thanks for nominating me, too. 🙂

    • Thanks so much! I have quite a few true ghost stories posted on here. They are kind of all mixed in, but you can find some under the search… true ghost stories. Here’s one: … Now, you lived in a haunted house! Have you posted any stories I could read? I’d love to hear about your experiences. 🙂

      • I’m going right over ti checking it out! Thanks! I haven’t written about it, 1 because im just so new to blogging that I just font have a huge volume of posts yet. & 2. A little trepidation ..”will they think Im crazy?” Sadly.
BUT, you kinda have me both inspired and feeling a little brave about writing about those unexplainable things that so many experience but are afraid to talk about openly. 😊

      • Someday, maybe, you’ll want to post something, and I know I’ll be interested. I have found that quite a few fellow bloggers have commented that they, too, have had strange things like these happen where they are. I think lots of people are eager to hear of this subject, and like to relate their experiences, too. Thanks so much for visiting here, and asking about it all. 🙂

  3. Congratulations! 🙂 And thank you so much for nominating me. 🙂 It’s brilliant that you found your soul sistah, you’re really lucky, and I enjoyed reading your letter a lot. 🙂
