Picture – Stream of Consciousness Saturday – SOCS

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS March 24/18

Today is the day for SOCS, and Linda has given us a prompt that is a bit different. (see below)

Thanks, Linda.

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “picture.” Write about, or theme your post on the first picture you see when you sit down to start writing. You don’t need to describe the picture necessarily–you can even put yourself in it if you’re not already there. Enjoy!

I’m not real sure what picture I’m supposed to write about. A picture on the wall? I don’t have any around my computer desk, except a calendar hanging on the wall in front of me. It’s got cats for the pictures, Day of the Dead cats. But, I don’t look at it when I first sit down to write/type. That’s because it’s still so early and dark in here. The only light is the computer screen, so I can’t see the calendar.

I see a random pretty picture when I turn on my computer. They just come on the screen for a minute, until I sign in, and go to whatever I want to do. That is click onto Face Book, to play some games. The random pictures are of places in the world, all spectacular photos, and also of different animals, or trees, etc.

Thanks for visiting! Peace

  1. I had my screen set to forests for a long time and then I uploaded a cloud photo I took. I should change it, but eh, I only see it a few minutes. Day of the Dead cats sounds cute! Have you shared that with us?

    • I had a screen saver photo of a dirt path through the woods, that I found somewhere (not my photo) but ever since we had so many computer problems awhile back, it disappeared. I’m on the mister’s side of things (mine still doesn’t work right), and his is of a beach. .. The Day of the Dead Calendar cats are really cute. I haven’t taken a photo of the calendar pages, though. 🙂
