Jigsaw Puzzle Update

Jigsaw Puzzle Update

It’s been awhile since I’ve mentioned the jigsaw puzzles we work, and we are still going strong on completing them. Here’s how it’s been going.

I believe all these can be enlarged by clicking the photo.

We just finished this one today. It took a long time, as all those sunflowers were pretty hard to do. There were so many yellow and yellow/orange pieces!

This one was pretty cool. It was a glow in the dark one, and the middle photo shows it actually glowing.

This one was fun to do. The hardest part was the rug.

This one was interesting. It was fun to work, but kind of hard. At first we thought the picture and the puzzle pieces just didn’t match up, but in the end it did. There was a little booklet, with a story of a murder mystery, and after working the puzzle we were to find out who did it.

This one was fun, and not too awfully hard to work. Lots of kitty cuteness!

Here’s some more cat puzzles. I can’t remember in which order we did these. Seems we’ve bought so many puzzles featuring cats!

Here’s one that’s not about cats. It has toys and games from a long time ago. It was fun to see some that we had when we were kids.

I liked this one a lot, because it was all about spooky things of Halloween!

This one is the newest one, which we started today. So far, so good. I’ve already got most of the outside border done.

So, that’s pretty much up to date, if I didn’t forget one. Hope you enjoyed looking! 🙂

Thanks for visiting! Peace ☮️

  1. wow!!! gurl!!!
Love them all and so much detail…I used to love doing them thru the winter… I love, love the one with the sunflowers …but they are all cute n kool never seen a glow in the dark one…
Hey did you know if you buy some elmers glue and turned the puzzles on the other side…or you can do it on the finished side too…you spread they glue all over with a brush and then you let it dry and can frame the beautiful puzzles… just thought I would share lol…
    Huggggs n ♥♥♥

    • Thanks! There’s some really great pictures for the puzzles. I’ve thought about gluing them, but never have. There’s an elementary school here (we went in to do voting one time) and the hallway decor was puzzles. I thought that was really neat. Glad you like the ones we’ve been doing. 🙂

  2. So pretty, but I’ll never have the satisfaction of completing one. I like puzzles up to about 350 pieces. Do you work with a group? There is a puzzle table at the senior center where workers come and go. Your pictures are lovely.

    • Thanks, Oneta! There’s all kinds of puzzles with different amounts to do, like the 350. I’m better with the 500, instead of the 1,000. Those take so long to finish. No, we don’t have any groups like that around here that I know of. Nice idea, though. 🙂

  3. Love them all. I haven’t done one for some time now, but seeing yours, make me want to get one out again.
Only I spend too much time at my computer, how do you find the time to do them?

    • I remember you’ve said you enjoy doing puzzles, too, Elsie! I stay on this computer all the time, and just when I take a break is when I work on the puzzles. My husband works on them, too, so it goes faster. He takes a break from watching TV – haha! 🙂
