Just Jot It January – One Liner Wednesday

***

This will be a two for one deal, as I didn’t manage to post for yesterday’s prompt, and here it is today already.

Anyway, the prompts were/are ‘Boisterous’, which was suggested by Dan. Here’s the link to his blog, and to the prompt page. Thanks, Dan!

Also, being it is Wednesday, the normal One Liner Wednesday is in effect, which means there is no special prompt.  Here’s the link to today’s page.

One-Liner Wednesday & #JusJoJan Daily Prompt – January 3rd, 2018

Okay, boisterous is the complete opposite of what I am. I don’t think I’ve ever been boisterous. In the dictionary it says the word means ‘noisy and violent; clamorous. Also, coarse and unrestrained. Yeah, not me at all.

One Liner Wednesday is supposed to be something funny or maybe inspirational, and said in one sentence, if possible.

I’ve tried it a time or two. I don’t really like quoting things my family says, as they probably wouldn’t appreciate it, even though it’s sometimes pretty funny.

That leaves me with the problem of how do you think up a one liner?

I don’t usually copy quotes I find on the internet, or even from Pinterest, because there’s the whole deal of finding sources, giving credit, and all kinds of things that make it not fun to do. I see other people do this, but it’s just not for me.

Which brings me back to the main problem…where do you get the one liners from, if not from family or the internet? I’m not good with jokes, or witty sayings, myself, so making something up doesn’t really work.

Well, that’s my thoughts on one liners, which wasn’t a prompt word for today, or a one liner, seeing as I’ve typed way more than one sentence.

Thanks for visiting! Peace }i{

  1. I gather so many one-liners, I have tons of drafts. AND even more I discard for fear of offending 😉 lol — BUT I have a lot of interaction daily.
