The way I’m taking this, is everyone should try to get rid of negative feelings about yourself. You know, all the interior thoughts a person may have, that they aren’t good enough, pretty enough, smart enough, and on and on.

There are lots of songs about positive affirmations, and I wanted to put more than one on here, but I chose this one. It is one of my favorites, because it says it doesn’t matter what you look like, what other people say about you, and that you are wonderful, just the way you are. It’s a happy, uplifting song about having a positive body image.

Because you know I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass… bass… bass… bassYeah, it’s pretty clear, I ain’t no size two
But I can shake it, shake it, like I’m supposed to do
‘Cause I got that boom boom that all the boys chase
And all the right junk in all the right places

I see the magazine workin’ that Photoshop
We know that shit ain’t real, come on now, make it stop
If you got beauty, beauty, just raise ’em up
‘Cause every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top

Yeah, my mama she told me “don’t worry about your size”
(Shoo wop wop, sha-ooh wop wop)
She says, “Boys like a little more booty to hold at night”
(That booty, uh, that booty booty)
You know I won’t be no stick figure silicone Barbie doll
(Shoo wop wop, sha-ooh wop wop)
So if that’s what you’re into, then go ‘head and move along

Because you know I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass… Hey!

I’m bringing booty back
Go ‘head and tell them skinny bitches that
No, I’m just playing, I know you think you’re fat
But I’m here to tell you…
Every inch of you is perfect from the bottom to the top

Yeah my mama she told me, “don’t worry about your size”
(Shoo wop wop, sha-ooh wop wop)
She says, “Boys like a little more booty to hold at night”
(That booty booty, uh, that booty booty)
You know I won’t be no stick figure, silicone Barbie doll
So if that’s what you’re into, then go ‘head and move along

Because you know I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass…

Because you know I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I said I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass…

Because you know I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass, no treble
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass… Hey!
I’m all about that bass
‘Bout that bass… Hey!
I’m all about that bass
Bout that bass…
Hey!
Yeah yeah… ohh… You know you like this bass… Hey…

    • Hi, Tara! Glad you enjoyed the song! πŸ™‚ … I only use my desktop computer, not my phone, so not sure if it’s the same for pingbacks. I go way up at the top of the screen, find the https address of the post you want to pingback, then copy it. Then go to your own post, and find where you want to put the pingback, and just hit paste. It should show up (mine shows up in red). then when you click on it, it should take you to the page you wanted to pingback. Hope that helps! πŸ™‚

  1. I’m not sure I ever got “all about that bass” with this song. I had no idea it was a positive self-affirmation song. I love the message and I love that she did it in such a fun way! Thanks for teaching me something today! πŸ™‚
