Miranda Lambert is one of my favorite singers.

I first saw her on the TV show, “Nashville Star”, (similar to American Idol), in 2003, before she became well-known. She came in third in the contest. Since then, my daughter and I have been to one of her concerts here in town. She puts on a wonderful show!

“White Liar”, by Miranda Lambert, was released in 2009, from the album, “Revolution”. It was written by Miranda Lambert and Natalie Hemby, and is on the Columbia Nashville label.

Hey white liar
The truth comes out a little at a time
And it spreads just like a fire
Slips off of your tongue like turpentine
And I don’t know why, white liarYou better be careful what you do
I wouldn’t wanna be in your shoes
If they ever found you outYou better be careful what you say
It never really added up anyway
I got friends in this townHey white liar
The truth comes out a little at a time
And it spreads just like a fire
Slips off of your tongue like turpentine
And I don’t know why, white liarYou said you went out to a bar
And walked some lady to her car
But your face has more to tell’Cause my cousin saw you on the street
With a red head named Bernice
Turns out you don’t lie too wellHey white liar
Truth comes out a little at a time
And it spreads just like a fire
Slips off of your tongue like turpentine
And I don’t know why, white liarHere’s a bombshell just for you
Turns out I’ve been lying tooYeah, I’m a white liar
Truth comes out a little at a time
And it spreads just like a fire
Slips off of my tongue like turpentine
And I don’t know why, white liar
