The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS Aug. 5/17

Today’s prompt is High/Low.

The first thing I though of with the prompt high/low, is a cheeseburger. A double cheeseburger, to be exact.

You see, I used to work at a fast food restaurant, called Sandy’s. This was in Lawton OK, back in the early 70s. One of their menu items was called the Hi/Lo double cheeseburger. I know it’s spelled different from the prompt, but still sounds the same. These burgers were very good, and I’ve never found another one that has been the same.

  1. Nothing better than a cheeseburger from a restaurant that uses in its logo a pretty Scots lass in a kilt doing the Highland Fling, unless it’s a double cheeseburger…

    • We don’t live in Lawton any more. We were stationed there twice (Army), and moved all over the place for quite a few years. When the mister retired we moved back home to TX. πŸ™‚ I don’t recall us ever being in Tulsa, but I have relatives in and around OKC.
