  3. Freedom to write and say what we want on our blogs, is wonderful. We should never take freedom of speech and the press for granted.
  4. This week, I am thankful because we had a bit of rain. We needed it. I think the weekend will bring more.

  1. We’ve had rain recently, too. It rained so much one night that I didn’t have to change the water in the bird bath. Heavenly Father did it for me. πŸ™‚

Our heat index got to 105 today or yesterday. I can’t remember which now. It sure was hot!

Have a blessed week and a wonderful 4th, Barbara. πŸ™‚

    • That is a terrible heat index you’ve had there. We did get rain during the night for 2 nights, Hopefully there will be some more. With everyone popping fireworks around here, it’s good the rain has soaked everything, so maybe there won’t be any fires! Enjoy your week, and have a fun and safe 4th! πŸ™‚ xo

      • It was pretty hot, but thankfully there is usually a cool breeze going through our carport. We’ve had some rain, too, but the river is down to just over 9ft, so I reckon we need to get a bit more.

I hope that your area will be safe through the firework events and no fires anywhere. Enjoy your week, too, and a very happy 4th for you! πŸ™‚

      • Thanks, Suzanne! That breeze through the carport sound nice. From the radar it looks as though we may get some more rain tonight. Hope so! …xo

  2. I apologize for my lateness in responding. Although I read posts last week, with Chloe Jo in the hospital, it has been difficult. As I write this, she is back in the hospital for observation and tests. Thanks for understanding. Hugs.
