“One Toke Over the Line”, by Brewer and Shipley, was released in 1970. It is on the album, “Tarkio”, with the Kama Sutra, A & M, Capitol label, and was written by Mike Brewer and Tom Shipley. There was controversy over the meaning of the lyrics.

“Operator”, by Jim Croce, was released in 1972, on the album, “You Don’t Mess Around With Jim”. It was written by Jim Croce, and with the labels ABC (USA), and Vertigo (UK, Mexico).
