51 WEEKS/51 SONGS FROM THE PAST – WEEK 11

51 Weeks: 51 Songs From The Past: Week 11: Peter Gabriel – Sledgehammer

***

For this week’s challenge, I’m featuring the song, “Good Morning Starshine”. It’s one of my favorite songs to sing along too, I think because it is such a happy song.

This song was sung by William Oliver Swofford (1945-2000). He was an American pop singer, better known for only his middle name, Oliver. “Good Morning Starshine” was released in 1969, on the label Jubilee, and written by James Rado, Gerome Ragni, & Galt MacDermot. The song was heard in the musical “Hair”.
