You’re welcome. The skink lizard was new to me, too. We saw it at an exhibit. Prairie dogs are all over where we live, even getting into our back yard. I think they are cute. 🙂
I had to look up what a marmot was! Yes, the prairie dog looks and acts just about the same as a marmot, but it said they were not of the same genus? Anyway, they do live in burrows in the fields and alongside the roads, and some people actually keep them as pets. 🙂
