  1. You’ve got to tell me about the F5 tornado. How was/is the school haunted? Why will you never eat applesauce. I paint on rocks -as I have a rock garden for the children that die from cancer in honor of Peyton Whittington -who loved gardens. When my girls were young we use to eat up rocks in the oven and then color them with crayons. It was a blast!

    • Hi, Dee! That is a wonderful thing you do with the painted rocks for honoring children. I’d never thought about heating rocks, then coloring with crayons. Now I want to try that! My grandson (6) has taken to painting rocks, also. … I should write up my tornado story on here. I’ve been asked to before, but have yet to do so. It was published in the local on-line newspaper several years ago. My dad and I were lucky to have survived. I will also tell my story of the haunted high school. It’s still being used, and still has incidents there. Thanks again for the nomination of the award, Dee! 🙂
