OCTPOWRIMO – POEMS – # 10 – SPIDER DANCEIMG_20150928_151453

It is day and poem # 10. It was suggested that we find some music that we like, and if we wanted to, just dance around, letting your thoughts flow. Then write your poem. This song is one of my very favorites, and I play it a lot. I can’t help but sing it, and dance around the living room when I hear it. The cats think I’m crazy. πŸ™‚

The song is called “Lola Montez” by Volbeat. It was based on a true story, of the woman, and her Spider Dance.Β I just call it the Spider Dance song, because of the lyrics, and because I like anything to do with spiders. You can listen to it hereΒ …

Weave your web of love around me

Seduce me with your words, sublime

Silken strands to hold and bind me

Capture me…I’ll call you mine…

Spin your web in sticky spirals

I’ll never want to flee,

Lure me with your lyrics, love…

Come closer…come get me.

Dance with me, my Spider…dance…

Be wanton with your wildness,

Pierce me with your poisonous lance,

Our rebel love is reckless.

Thanks for visiting! Peace }I{

    • Hi, Oneta! haha yes, guess I could be called a spider woman, as I am fascinated by them. I’ve never been afraid of them, but am careful when I take their picture, or scoop them up in a cup to relocate them to another place…outdoors! That made me smile…checking out my ‘web’ πŸ˜‰ Thank you for coming by and I’m glad you’re enjoying my poems. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
