For week # 28, the questions can be found at http://ceenphotography.com/2015/07/13share-your-world … Thank you Cee!

Questions and Answers …

1. What is your favorite comfort snack food?

Anything sweet will do, but doughnuts are my favorite. I like them any which way, any size, any flavor. I wouldn’t ever turn one down. My family knows this, and have in the past, given me a dozen Krispy Kreme doughnuts, wrapped up like a gift for Christmas. My daughter even made me a birthday cake out of some, all stacked up and frosted with chocolate, and candles on top. (that was the time I caught my hair afire while blowing out the candles…I won’t say how many ;-)…

2. If you had to spend one weekend alone in a single store, but could remove nothing, which store would you pick?

Not sure what you mean by remove nothing…but I guess I could use what’s in the store?

Probably Wal-mart. It has everything I’d need to get by for the weekend. There is food, of course, and books to read, games to play, televisions to watch, music…well, just everything you would want to do. And, the garden center…I could pretend all those flowers and plants were my garden for the weekend. I am no good at growing plants, and even those I transplant, or even houseplants, never last long. So, that would be nice to enjoy them all for a little while.

3. What was the largest city you have been to? What is the one thing you remember most?

The largest city I’ve been to is Tokyo, Japan. We lived there (right on the outskirts of the city) for almost two years. We’d catch the train or subway, and go into the city to shop, and to eat fabulous food. There were so many people, lots of traffic, and everyone was so friendly. My daughters were very small, and had their baby blond hair, which the Japanese ladies would always stop us and make a fuss over them.

4. Finish this sentence: It has recently come to my attention that…

Well, I think it’s come to my attention, that I spend way too much time thinking of what my answers will be for these questions. I seem to read them, then spend hours thinking of how to answer them, when maybe I should just dash something off …I don’t know…I love doing these questions and answers, and reading everyone else’s so will continue however it turns out.

5. Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up?

I have no idea, other than the usual …you know, happy that we are still alive to answer these questions. We haven’t all melted from the extreme heat of the summer, and hopefully not been washed away in the flooding rains. Hopefully everyone had a good week and weekend, and have some fun and laughs this week, too.

  1. I think it’s funny how the Japanese fussed over your daughters’ blond hair, and when I’ve been to Asia I’ve been so envious of their sleek dark hair.

  2. Hi, Carol! Yes, I was the same way…always wanted long, black straight, and thick hair like theirs…guess the blond stands out, so they were fascinated. I remember the ladies smiling faces and they’d say something, but I didn’t know what they were saying, but they were so friendly everywhere we went. Thanks for your comment and visit! 🙂

  3. We don’t have those donuts in here but did iMN.

Your responses are hilarious! I’d do Walmart too. I’d go to the kid section and find some toys.. I’d go get some stickers…
I could go on. .. but this is yours lol…
I think we need to move to Texas! Lol

  4. hahaha Misty…It would be so much fun to play with the kids toys in the store, and all the rest of the things in there. We could play Barbies, or even ride the bikes up and down the aisles, and just be silly! 😉

    • Hi, Sheila! Thanks so much for the nomination on the book tag reading habits! Such a cool bunch of questions to answer, and I’ll get busy on them. Enjoy your weekend, also! 🙂
