POEM # 14

She was full of vim and vigor

’til spider pulled the trigger

He crept up and bit her

She developed mortis rigor

On this sunny day…

If she’d been a little quicker

So spider wouldn’t pick her

We’d need not call the vicar

And notify the digger

What more is there to say…

So, we’ll pass around the liquor

And raise up our jigger

Sweet blessings we will give her

To go toward something bigger

And send her on her way…

Thanks for stopping by! πŸ™‚

    • Hi! Thanks for visiting here! I’m glad you enjoyed the poem! I wanted to do Halloween type poems, some a bit scary, (but not too much), and mostly lighthearted, and fun ones! Mostly exploring different types of poetry and seeing how they turn out! I love visiting your blog, too! πŸ™‚
