IT’S SO EASY!!! …NOT

Well, here I am again. Still trying to get something to work on here. Not having

any luck at it. What I’m trying to do now is put the little badge on the sidebar

that says I’ll be participating in the A to Z Blog Challenge (which starts on April

first). I did get the picture into the media part on here, and have spent the last

few days trying to apply it to the sidebar. I have looked in the help section, and

they gave some directions to follow….and I followed them, but it still did not

work. Over and over I tried it. Plus, I’ve tried clicking other things that say it

will work. Nothing is working!! The directions make it seem so easy…just do

this and this, and voila…look at your main page and there it will be.

I have no idea why, when I try to do it, it doesn’t work. I did finally get my

gravatar picture on there…I imagine by accident…and if you asked me to

do it again, I’d not know the steps to take.

I so wanted to get the hang of this picture adding thing before the blog

challenge. I still have a few days to work on it, so instead of writing out

my blogs that I’ll be posting, I’m taking all this time to try and put the main

icon of the thing on here. I have a feeling it is easy for everyone else (I may

be wrong), but everyone else’s I look at already have their’s on their page.

What is frustrating, too, is there is no one to actually ask how to do it…I

just get these little general suggestions from the computer (?) and it really

doesn’t answer the questions I have.

Oh, well, if I don’t ever get the little picture on, so be it. I guess I can still

write my posts about the A2Z in April. 🙂 It will be fun to see if I can, whether

anyone comes here to read it or not. I’ll have fun doing it.

THE BLACK BOX

I’m tired of being a black box! I’ve been trying for awhile now to get my little

picture to show up on the sidebar. As usual I have no idea what I’m doing, so

I just push some buttons and hope it works. We will see if what I did today

works. The little notice said it did, and I would be seeing my uploaded picture

on here soon. I wonder how soon? Haven’t seen it happen yet.

You know, some things on the internet/computer are really fast…like

immediately…then others take awhile. I never know which one it will be.

I have commented on other blogs and I see other blogger’s little pictures,

but mine has been showing up as just the black box. It’s a little bit

embarassing when they ask you where’s your picture, and I have to admit

I have no idea. So I’ve been trying to get it to work. At least today I did get

a different screen to crop the picture (but I hit the wrong button, and it

finished before I had gotten it like I wanted it) so there’s that I can say

I did. So yay! We’ll see what happens.

This is ‘Weena’ …she teleports herself!

Hello! Hi, y’all! *waves* 😉 Well, here I am again. I’ve been fiddling around on here for quite
a while this afternoon, working on getting my ‘about me’ page posted. I’d made a draft yesterday, but
then didn’t like it, so I started over. I even managed to put a picture of myself on there! Yay me! hahaha

That is my big accomplishment today. This learning as you go along business is fun, but a lot of trial and
error, (and I may or may not holler at the computer when it goes all wonky on me…heavy emphasis on ‘may’).
Of course, it’s the computer’s fault. It likes to make me woooorrrkkk for each and every little bit of progress!

Now that this about me page is done, I can go on to another wonderful learning experience. I will continue to
practice and get those widgets under control, and how to do links (I may have accidently done that today…not
sure how, though). Let me try one little thing right now…another picture…let’s see what happens, ok?

Wow! It worked! See, I did learn something today!

STILL CONFUSED!

I’m back. It’s been a few days, so thought I’d look around on here again. I’ve been trying to figure out how to put a picture on here. You know, like just a little one beside what I write. I can’t even seem to find how to preview this blog once I’ve written something! There’s the little picture that I see right now up there on the left, but, why doesn’t it show up later? And the “about me” section I think I’m supposed to fill out, or say something….?? Guess I will just have to spend more time on here, in order to actually figure it out. …

I’ve been trying to think of what I could actually write about on here. So far, it’s just going to be a general type, mish mash of whatever I have been thinking about. I don’t have any real purpose for this blog, just that I like to write a lot of different things. It would be neat If someone actually read it, though, even if it’s silly.

I don’t have anything at all to promote, like others seem to do…whether it is on Facebook, or Twitter, or their blogs. I’m on all of these, too, just having fun. I don’t have a book to promote, or a product…just me and my blog musings. *smile* 

I imagine someone looking at this would ask, why? Why would they have any interest in reading anything I say about anything. I don’t know, I have no idea. Why do I read other people’s blogs? I would say, because they seem friendly, funny, or something can relate to, like hobbies, or pets, or telling about their regular lives, and all the crazy things that happen. I read what interests me!

What interests me in a sort of catagory type summation, would be…writing, in all forms, books, music, pets, art, astronomy, weird subjects of all types…especially true ghost stories, aliens and UFOs, conspiricy theories, and on and on…hahaha, As you can see, I like a lot of different things.

So, probably I’ll ramble on about all of these subjects on here. Most of it …no I’m pretty sure all of it..will be freewriting, just as I’m doing right now. Having ADHD (I’m pretty sure) my mind goes in a hundred different directions at one time, and pinning down one thought is like hard to do. So, yeah, that’s me. Quirky, silly, and believe it or not, a writer with bonafide credentials (small as they may be), and so I write. I’ve been writing as long as I can remember (and wish I hadn’t tossed much of the early years), but I do have some saved…such as a yearlong diary from when I was ten years old, and I posted an entry of that on my FB page every single day that corresponded to the day in the diary in …1961…yes! For real!
